HONEY GARLIC CHICKEN
600g chicken breast
0.3 cups soy sauce
0.25 cups honey
3 cloves garlic
1 small onion
crushed red pepper flakes
1 teaspoon white vinegar
1 teaspoon sesame oil
2 tablespoons water
1 tablespoon flour
spring onions
sesame seeds
rice
_ combine soy sauce, honey, finely chopped garlic and onion, red pepper flakes, vinegar and sesame oil
[stir until honey is dissolved]
_ coat chicken breasts with the mixture
_ place chicken in a large pot - so all pieces touch the bottom
_ cover and cook over medium heat
[chicken should not fry but cook]
_ cook until tender [chicken should fall apart easily]
_ take chicken out of the liquid and shred chicken into small pieces
[once cold enough to handle]
_ add water and flour to the remaining liquid in the pan
_ bring to a short boil
_ combine chicken and half the sauce [use more if desired]
_ pile chicken atop fresh steamed rice
_ garnish with sliced spring onion and sprinkle with sesame seeds
