GOOSEBERRY THYME BLOSSOM LEMONADE
2 cups gooseberries
1 cup water
1/2 cup lemon juice [depends on how sour your gooseberries are]
1/2 cup honey
1/2 cup oregano blossoms
[alternatively thyme, marjoram]
4 cups water
_ place gooseberries and water in a saucepan and bring to a boil
_ reduce heat and simmer for about 10 minutes [berries should be completely soft]
_ pour liquid through a fine meshed strainer [squeeze out as much liquid as possible from the berries]
_ leave gooseberry liquid to cool a little before tasting and adding lemon juice and honey to taste
_ transfer to a jar or container you can close air tight and add the blossoms of your choice
_ give it a good shake and refrigerate over night
_ strain out blossoms and add remaining water
[adjust honey and lemon balance if needed]
_ serve over ice
STACHELBEER THYMIAN-BLÜTEN LIMONADE
300 g Stachelbeeren
250 ml Wasser
125 ml Zitronensaft [je nachdem, wie sauer die Stachelbeeren sind]
170 g Honig
große Handvoll Oreganoblüten
[alternativ Thymian, Majoran]
1 l Wasser
