QUARK EASTER BUNNIES
[for 4-5 rabbits]
125 g low-fat quark
40 ml sunflower oil
50 ml milk
60 g sugar
8 g baking powder
250 g flour
1 ½ tablespoons cornstarch
butter
powdered sugar / icing sugar
1 package vanilla sugar
_ whisk quark, oil and milk well in a bowl
_ stir in sugar
_ finally add baking powder, flour and cornstarch
_ turn out onto a clean work surface and knead until a smooth dough forms
_ divide dough into 4 or 5 pieces
[depending on how big you want your bunnies]
_ shape dough pieces into a long rolls [finger thick]
_ cut off a small piece for the bunny tail
_ shape the dough roll into a U and twist it twice
_ slightly point the ends of the dough to look more like ears
_ form the tail into a ball and press it gently into the dough
_ place the bunnies on a baking paper
_ preheat oven to 200°C
_ bake bunnies for 15 min [until golden brown]
_ mix powdered sugar with vanilla sugar
_ remove bunnies from oven and brush with butter
_ dip in or sprinkle with sugar

125 g Magerquark
40 ml Sonnenblumenöl
50 ml Milch
60 g Zucker
8 g Backpulver
250 g Mehl
1 ½ Esslöffel Speisestärke
Butter
Staubzucker / Puderzucker
1 Packung Vanillezucker
