FRIED BEEF AND SUGAR SNAP PEAS
120 ml soy sauce
60 ml water
3 tablespoons rice wine vinegar
2 tablespoons brown sugar
2 tablespoons corn starch
1 tablespoon vegetable oil
1 clove garlic
300 g sugar snap peas
350 g beef steak
rice
_ combine soy sauce, water, rice wine vinegar, sugar and starch and mix well
_ mince garlic
_ wash sugar snap peas
_ cut the steak into thin slices [about 1cm thick]
_ cook rice according to package discription
_ heat oil in a large pan
_ sauté garlic and sugar snap peas for about 5 minutes
[keep turning them so they get heat from all sides]
_ take out of the pan and store for later
_ fry steak strips until nicely browned from both sides
[about 5 to 7 minutes]
_ add sugar snap peas and the prepared sauce
_ stir until the sauce thickens [this should happen rather quick]
_ serve with rice or rice noodles
